HANK & CUPCAKES
Hank & Cupcakes will visit Nasty Mondays for the 7th Anniversary for a live show next 6th February. Hailed by MTV for their “Fresh new sound” and Huffington Post as one of the “15 Musical Acts to Break in 2011”, this Brooklyn-based drums and bass duo pumps out edgy dance pop that bristles with sass and sexuality.
While Hank’s bass playing fills out the band’s unique brand of sexy pop, Cupcakes handles drum duties standing up and belts out vocals like a diva.
The self-titled debut EP, recorded with Grammy Award winning producer Mark B. Christiansen (N.O.R.E., 50 Cent), features the single “Ain’t No Love,” which spawned videos featured by URB Magazine and Village Voice, and a haunting cover of Joy Division’s “She’s Lost Control.”
Filled with songs guaranteed to pack the dance floor, their latest creation is this incredibly catchy single “Liquid Mercury”. This a must see show!

Nasty Mondays started in the year 2005 in Barcelona, by Max and Soren - local celebrities, mad minds, blonde lovers and tattoo addicts! With their fable to indie and electro rock, they started with a party series that did not exist like that in Barcelona before. Constantly reinventing themselves, with new themes, bands playing live, different locations and becoming crazier each time, they have managed to establish their base within Barcelona, and have toured in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Holland or the United States.
Nasty Mondays Barcelona has positioned itself as a benchmark in the music scene and socio-cultural Catalan capital. An artistic movement that has laid the foundations for a new concept of leisure, music, design, photography, film, extreme sports, creativity, fashion and trends.
